HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MEASURED?
We at MarieSue Lingerie would recommend every 3 – 6 months depending on many different things. Weight loss or gain, Pregnancy, hormonal etc; So really the answer to this question is when you know you’re not fitting your bras like you once did it’s time to go and get measured and fitted again at least then you will have peace of mind.
I LIKE TO WEAR AN ALL-IN-ONE, BUT I FEEL THEY CUT INTO MY SHOULDERS?
This is quite common in long bodied women, because most all-in-one pieces are made to the average body length. If you feel a drag on the body pulling the bust line down or the sensation of the straps cutting into the shoulder or even that the brief part needs adjusting around the bottom when you stand these are all signs of being long bodied and the easiest solution we find is when possible place a bra extender into the crutch area(this is only feasible with hook and eye gussets)they are quite cheap and make things a whole lot more comfortable and they are available on this site or in any good lingerie boutique.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM WEARING THE RIGHT SIZE BRA?
These are just a couple to tips:
| On the front |
Centre of the bra sits firm against the body
Underwire sits flat against the body making sure all breast tissue is in the cup of the bra and not behind the wire.
The cup should fits with no excess breast pushed out under the arm or over the top of the cup.
No gaping in the cup. (Too big on the cup) |

The band of the bra should be level all the way round the back with a snug feel to it.
No rising of the band (too big on the back) |
